Top Ten Ways to Blog Your Way Into A Law Suit

I really don't think blogging is your basic high risk field. But there are some risks, and a little bit of knowledge and some planning can reduce them quite a bit. That's the topic I'll be talking about at Blog World Expo in Las Vegas this weekend.

My program, Top Ten Ways to Blog Your Way Into A Law Suit, is described as a "A fast paced romp through the biggest legal risks that both individual and group bloggers face." And it is my intention to keep it light, cover a bunch of topics and provide a set of guidelines to help bloggers avoid the problems that do lurk out there.

If you want to learn more - join us at Blog World and sign up for the Citizen Journalism Workshop which is going to bring some traditional journalism skills and information to the blogger community. As the Workshop program says: "Now it's time for the bloggers and other new media journalists to mine the history, tradition and most importantly, the knowledge base of traditional journalists."

In addition to speaking, I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of my blogging friends and enjoying Las Vegas.

And a hint - just as blogs are starting to have more and more videos - so are the blog world programs.
